  <description>The Department of Film, Video and Interactive Media, School of Communications, Quinnipiac University seeks a full-time, non-tenure track Instructor in Interactive Media beginning August, 2010 to teach graduate (on-line and on-ground) courses in the Interactive Communications Master&#8217;s Program and undergraduate courses in interactive media. The successful candidate will combine a progressive design philosophy with excellent technical proficiency.

Requirements include professional experience in interactive media, teaching experience, and: 
 	
A Masters degree in digital design, interactive media or equivalent.

A mastery of interactive tools and technologies and experience producing in digital video and audio production and editing environments.

A body of work which demonstrates an understanding of solid design principles and visual aesthetics with a critical understanding of user experience, information design, and conceptual thinking.
